Until this past February, it had been at least a good 10 years since I last bought glasses. My prescription had changed and I was in need of new glasses, but since I wore contacts, I kept putting it off. When I found out my vision insurance would cover a new pair of glasses, I knew it was time to look.I can’t resist companies with a mission behind them, so I knew I was going to visit Warby ParkerFor every pair of glasses sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need. Could it get any better than that?

They have a store in DC, so I chose to visit that location, but I also toyed around with the idea of trying their Warby Parker Free Home Try-On’s option. If you haven’t heard of their try on option, it allows you to choose 5 pairs of glasses to try on. Warby Parker sends them to you, you pick out what you think looks best, and then you buy that pair. If you don’t find anything, then no problem! Send it back and you won’t get charged.

If you don’t need glasses (lucky you!) don’t worry, you don’t have to miss out on the fun. Warby Parker sells sunglasses too!

Have you shopped there before? Would you try it out?
