Adventuring with Vera Bradley

I love exploring. One of my favorite things about moving to DC for my internship and then my full time job was getting to explore all of the different neighborhoods and places you could visit.

One of my favorite places to go in DC is hands down Union Market. During my first year in DC, I loved going there on weekends, picking up some iced tea and a muffin and settling in to read a book.

Union Market was still in it’s smaller stages when I first started going, so it’s amazing to see how it’s grown over the past two years. I’ve gotten to see shops just stop by for a pop up shop and other delicious food stands find a slightly more permanent home there. I also love the new outdoor spaces they’ve created (including the one we used for the pictures today)!

I realized that we’re more than halfway into this post and I’ve been leading you down a winding and confusing path. While I am sharing my love for Union Market with you, this post actually isn’t sponsored by them. Actually, this post is all about the bag you keep seeing in those pictures. Unlike ones I’ve had in the past, this clasp actually worked and both flaps stayed down the entire time. Plus, the leather is so soft.

While this bag is different from the Vera Bradley bag you may remember from High School, they haven’t strayed too far and the bag still has a fun, patterned lining.
