Yesterday I shared one of my work outfits with you, but my daily adventure today is all about the weekend.
I’ll be honest, my weekends aren’t always super exciting to other people: pure barre, brunch, yoga, part time job, errands, cleaning, blog work, and catching up on TV shows (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt – watch it!).
However, everything I named above is all of the things I love. Now that it’s starting to get warm again in DC, I try to group all my errands together so I can walk from place to place and spend as much time outside as possible.
As much as I strive to not look like a schlub while I run errands, I always have to be mindful of the shoes I’m wearing aka if it ain’t flat, it ain’t happening. When I’m walking between errands it’ll mean I’m probably going to end up walking a few miles.
I’ll be honest based on past experiences, I was a little nervous about walking that much with these pointy toe flats, but these flats felt like I had sneakers on.
Plus, as much as I praise the flat, the hidden wedge in these shoes was a nice little bonus.
I wouldn’t go as far to say that I would skip around in these shoes…much.
But I’m now seriously considering getting a pair of Rockport pumps.
Seriously though, comfy heels? Game over.

Okay I loved yesterday's look, but this is even better! I can't get enough of utility jackets. Love how it's all neutrals but still so interesting – the perfect way to dress down these flats.
