I have to say, I really like this $500 for three months option. I feel like it’s so far really helped me keep an eye on how much I’m spending and what I’m spending the money on. Unlike the 2014 budget, where I felt like I had a never ending amount, this amount has a set ending so it’s making me a lot more thoughtful in my purchases.

Also, after what feels like years of searching, I finally found a utility jacket that I actually like! I was nervous about the price at first, but then when I realized that I had a discount code and some Old Navy rewards to spend, it definitely felt more do-able.

Coming up in March, there are a few things that I have my eye on, like these converse. I currently have a pair of converse, but my white ones just feel so clunky. I like how these look lighter, and well, daintier. The other thing I have my eye on is the Madewell Transport Tote. I have a some credits from my partnership with Shopbop that I could use to buy the Madewell tote, but I’m also leaning towards getting the Nordstrom one instead since it’s reversible so I’d get a black and tan bag. I’m also really liking Madewell’s new crossbody bag, but again, there’s a less expensive one at Old Navy. I just ordered the Old Navy one, so I’m going to see how that one turns out before I make any decisions. Finally, if you’ve been following me on twitter, you may have noticed my minor obsession with these flats. I should really just get a Nordstrom credit card.

  2. I am jealous you found the perfect utility jacket! I am searching for one myself! And I am thinking about transitioning to a quarterly budget as well – I feel like that will give me a lot more freedom!

  3. Try Old Navy, I'm in love with this one! It's odd because it's less money, but I really do feel like the quarterly budget gives me a lot more freedom. I also feel like I'm freaking out less about having enough money at the end of the year.

  4. I've been waiting to buy it for almost a year! I was so happy when the price finally went down.
